Loretta A. Enneking, age 94 of Oldenburg, Indiana, died Monday, October 13, 2008, at Margaret Mary Hospital in Batesville. Born March 13, 1914 in Franklin County Indiana, she is the daughter of Louise (Nee: Moorman) and Bernard Schwegman. She married Robert Enneking at St. Mary's of the Rock Church at St. Mary's in 1942. He preceded her in death August 15, 1956.Loretta was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary's of the Rock Church. She enjoyed gardening and sewing, especially quilt making. She liked playing cards and played solitaire quite often, but her true passion was music and she loved to dance. In later years when her health no longer allowed her to continue some of these hobbies, she would enjoy spending sunny afternoons sitting on her porch. She is survived by her sons Ken of Oldenburg, Indiana, Dick of Beaver Creek, Ohio; sister Dolores Hohman of St. Peter's, Indiana; brother Arnold Schwegman of St. Mary's; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she is also preceded in death by her son Bobby; sisters Eleanor Ripperger, Augusta Knecht; brothers Norbert, Leonard, Elmer, Alois and Raymond Schwegman and grandson Josh Enneking.Visitation is Friday, October 24th, from 10 a.m. until Noon at St. Mary's of the Rock Church. Funeral services follow at Noon with Rev. Humbert Moster O.F.M. officiating. Burial will be in Holy Family Cemetery at Oldenburg. The family requests memorials to St. Mary's of the Rock Window Fund.
