James O. Gee, 76, of Alexandria, passed away on May 1, 2014 at his residence. He was born on June 21, 1937 in Washington, Indiana and resided most of his life in Alexandria.
He served his country in the Air Force, and he retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors.
He enjoyed going to church at Living Word Worship Center, Liv Rite Fitness Center and spending time with his family and friends.
James is survived by his step-children, Stella Pettis, Frances (Jerry) Allen, Judy (Douglas) Lane, Gale Williams, Danny Watring, siblings, Donald "Jack" Gee, Chester (Diane) Gee, Judy (David) Bigham, Kenny Gee, fiancée, Sandy Mittendorf, several step-grandchildren, step great-grandchildren, and step-great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lenora (Williams) Gee, mother, Mabel (Pake) Gee, father, George Rex Gee, step-daughter, Sue Scott, step-son, Dale Williams, and his sister, Mary Evelyn Jones.
