Ida Ruth Hobson

Ida Ruth, daughter of Francis and Jewell Belle Thomas Fisher, was born at Liberty, Neb., Feb. 18, 1897 and passed away March 23, 1967 at the age of 70. Her childhood was spent in and near the Hardy community.

She was united in marriage to Clyde A. Hobson at Montrose, Kan., on April 18, 1923. They made their home six miles south of Hardy in Republic Co. Five children were born to this union. She was a member of the Union Church of Hardy and many communities organizations.

She was preceded in death by her husband, brother, Floyd, sister, Blanche Bethke and one grandchild.

Survivors include her five children, Clyde of Wichita, Betty Becker of Buffalo, N.Y., Dean of Columbia, S. Car., Elvin and Calvin of Hardy; brother, Hazel of Superior; 13 grandchildren and many friends.

Funeral services were held at the Hardy Union Church March 24 with Rev. V.C. LeMon officiating. Interment was in the Rosemound (sic) cemetery (sic).
