Charles Arbuthnot, 72, of Lebanon, died suddenly at his home Sunday evening. Mr. Arbuthnot was born here and lived the early part of his life in Belleville, attending schools and was graduated from Belleville high school in 1901. He was graduate from the University of Kansas. Mr. Arbuthnot has had a drug store in Lebanon since 1907.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at the Methodist church in Lebanon, interment will be here in Belleville cemetery. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Edward Byler, three grandchildren. Two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Parker, St. Petersburg, Fla., and Mrs. Mary Johnson, Belleville and one brother, S.E. Arbuthnot of Belleville.
