Early Life: Dick was born on April 28, 1922, in Provo, Utah, to Elijah "Lige" Jefferson and Lola Giles Hundley.
Life's Work | Service | Interests: In January of 1939, Dick married Erma Perry. They had four children. In 1943, Dick joined the United States Marine Corps, serving in the Pacific until the end of World War II. In 1948, he opened a business in Provo, Utah; Hundley Garage & Car Sales was a thriving car repair and car sales business for over 60 years. He retired at the age of 87. Dick was a lifelong member of the Provo Elks Lodge and longtime member of the Utah Lake Lions Club. He loved people and he loved to go to work. Richard "Dick" E. Hundley Sr. died on May 2, 2014, at the age of 92, due to natural causes.
Survived By: His wife of 75 years, Erma P. Hundley; daughter, Carolyn Anderson; sons, Richard E. (Debra) Hundley Jr., Ron J. (Sandi) Hundley and Britain Nickel; brother, Jack (Sherrie) Hundley; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Preceded In Death By: His parents; his daughter, Judy Houston; three brothers and two grandsons.
