JENNIE SARAJANE HUGHES LAPE CRAMER COSGROVE JACOBS was the d/o William & Elizabeth HUGHES. Jennie married first ANDREW JACKSON LAPE (JACK) circa 1881 in Fayette County, PA. Jack Lape was the d/o Samuel & Mary Kramer LAPE and was one (1) of Fourteen (14) men killed October 27,1884 in the Youngstown Mine Explosion in Lamont Furnace, Fayette County, PA.

Married only 7 years, Jennie Lape had became a widow with two small children to raise as survivors. Jennie Lape stayed single for almost ten years raising her two daughters Mamie & Lulu before meeting and marrying her 2nd husband, Civil War Veteran William Cramer (Service in the 11th PA Inf Reg't) on March 13, 1894 in Fayette County, PA. Their marriage lasted LESS than two YEARS ending when William Cramer died on July 23, 1896.

Several years later twice Widowed Jennie Lape Cramer met and thereafter married her 3rd husband WW1 Veteran Frank Cosgrove,a Coal Miner whom she united with on February 5, 1897 again in Fayette County, PA. There blessed marriage lasted 32+ years only ending when Jennie Cosgrove died on October 17, 1930.
