Mt. Gilead- John Nelson Krout, 89, retired school teacher, died at his home early today. Surviving are his son, Clint, of Mt. Gilead; three daughters, Mrs. Clara Shyrock of Vici, Okla., Mrs. Emma Pierson of Platt, Kan.,Mrs. Loura Williams of Edison, O.; two brothers, C.A. Krout of Tiffin and Hiram Krout of Mt. Gilead.
For 13 years, Mr. Krout was a member of the Chicago Business School faculty. He was a member of the First Baptist Church here and the I.O.O.F. lodge at Waterford.
