Mother died June 22, 1883 in Monroe when he was age 14. His father married Eliza Roxey Squire November 20, 1885, when Fonzo was age 16. Married Hulda Augusta Jonassen, age 27, October 21, 1896, Manti Temple. They lived in Monroe.
Died April 3, 1961, age 92, Richfield hospital from pneumonia. Buried April 8, 1961, Monroe City Cemetery.
Father of six children: Ruby Huetta, Vida LaVern, Marguerite, Frank "J", Heber "C", and John McKay.
He was a farmer, bishop, temple ordinance worker, patriarch, town councilman. He was gentle, kind, a good father and a student of the scriptures.
