He was employed at Vansco Electronics in the computer technology field. Alan was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing trips, boating and snowmobile riding. He participated in many sports, including team handball, hockey, baseball, curling, bowling and golf.On Friday, August 19, 2005 at the Selkirk and District General Hospital, Alan Devaney passed away, after a courageous battle with cancer.
