Daniel J. "Dan" Klein died peacefully surrounded by family Wednesday at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
Private interment will be in St. Paul's Cemetery in Sauk Centre.
Survivors include his wife, Char Klein of Ramsey; three children, Gina (Todd) Thompson of Sauk Rapids, DeAnn (Matt) Heinen of Sauk Rapids and Jason (fiancé Alicia Pufpaff) Klein of Rice; two step-children, Cindy Johnson of Spokane, Washington and Cathy (Randy) Kinney of Glenwood; 14 grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Barb (Dave) Wiegers of Monticello, Sharon Klein of Shakopee, Michael "Mickey" Klein of Sauk Centre, Judy (Joe) Deters of Sauk Centre, David (Bonnie) Klein of Shakopee and Janelle (Scott) Polipnick of Sauk Centre.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John, Jr. and LaVonne (Wildman) Klein; brothers, Mark and Thomas Klein.
