The funeral service for Alice Graber Holman, age 91, will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday, May 5, 2014, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Tommy Donaldson officiating. Graveside Service will be at 2:30 at Resthaven Cemetery in Oklahoma City, with Rev. Ron Fleming officiating. Vistiation with the family will be Sunday afternoon 3:30 – 5:00 PM at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Alice was born to George and Ida (Schwartz) Schroeder on June 9, 1922, in Pretty Prairie, Kansas, and passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2014, in Enid.

Alice grew up on the family farm near Pretty Prairie. On August 3, 1941, she married Victor Graber, and they made their home in Meno. Victor pastored churches in Oklahoma, Kansas and Minnesota. Four children were born to this marriage. They moved to Oklahoma City in 1964, before Victor died. Alice later married Wilbur Holman and they made their home near Waukomis. Alice later moved to South Carolina, before returning to Oklahoma in 2012. Alice enjoyed reading her Bible, gardening, and took great pride in her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the Pleasant Valley Church.

Alice taught us the value of God, family and prayer. She showed us how to celebrate every day through generous family meals and late night snacks. Everyone loved going to Grandma's.

Alice is survived by her children Cheryl and Fred Stronczek of Greer, South Carolina, and Christine and Ron Fleming of Lyman, South Carolina; daughter-in-laws Cathy Graber of Enid, and Debbie Graber of Oklahoma City; 12 grandchildren Jamie Graber, Jill Graber, Judi Ring, Jenny Warriner, Vicki Humphries, Robin Davis, Matthew Stronczek, Rodney Graber, Jr, Sam Staggs, Jr., David Staggs, Travis Staggs, and Shawn Gaino; 30 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild; 1 sister Naomi Sanders of Arkansas; 1 brother Vernon and Vanita Schroeder of Kansas; 1 brother-in-law Roger Cloyd; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ida; husbands Victor Graber, and Wilbur Holman, brother Eugene Schroeder, sister Marilyn Cloyd, sons Ron Graber, and Rodney Graber, son-in-law Sam Staggs, granddaughter Heather Stronczek and great granddaughter Victoria Humphries.

Memorials may be made to Pleasant Valley Church.
