Graveside services for Richard James Ward, 62, Smyrna, who died Wednesday, Aug. 26, at Southern Hills Hospital, Nashville, are set for 11 a.m. Friday in Mapleview Cemetery with Barry Davis officiating.
A native of Morrison, Ill., his parents were the late George Ward and Jane Rose Ward.
He is survived by two daughters, Leigh Ann Brown of Smyrna, and Martha Ward of Wisconsin; two brothers, Donnie Ward and Jerry Ward, both of Illinois; a sister, Jane Ann Birley of Colorado; and two granddaughters.
Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna, is in charge of arrangements.
