She had been an assembly line worker 21 years for Western Electric Co., retiring In 1971. She married Will Hugh Young on February 10, 1934 in Franklin, Simpson co., Kentucky. 2 children were born to this union, Carroll Sue & Bobby Hugh. They later divorced. Bessie then married Jewell Eugene Wheeler on December 27, 1941 in Sumner co., Tennessee. 5 children were born to this union, Jewell Dean, Jerry Wayne, Eddie Russell, Sandra Kay & Roger Dale. They too, later divorced. Survivors: longtime boyfriend, Charlie, daughters, C. Sue McGee of Tennessee, J. Dean Trump of Indianapolis and Sandra K. Holland of Tennessee; sons, Jerry W. of Indianapolis, Eddie R. of Indiana and Roger D. Wheeler of Tennessee, and Bobby H. "Buddy" Young of Tennessee; 13 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren. Record encephalopathy.
