John Campbell Guyn, 80 years old, died at his home on Academy street, last night of general debility. Mr. Guyn was a native of Woodford County where he lived until the past ten years.
He enlisted in the Confederate army under General John H. Morgan and served until the close of the Civil war. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Guyn, and six children, Mrs. C.A. Reed and Hunt Guyn, of Woodford County; Eugene Guyn of Winchester, and T.R. Guyn, Mrs. W.D. Betts and Miss Mattie Guyn of this city.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock at the Troy church. Burial will be in the Ebenezer burying ground.

Mrs. Chilton Allen Reed (Annie), the other daughter died in Indianapolis in November 1921, while on a visit to their daughter, Mrs. A. C. Gandy. Most likely buried in Wilmore Cemetery with husband. Obituary in HL, Nov 27, 1921 only stated body at home of mother in Kentucky.
