A memory from Dottie (Lasher) Ridenour: This photo of Uncle Rufus belies his nature, he was a ''jokester'' If we were not home when he came to visit, he would come in through a window (that was when we always let our doors and windows unlocked), and he would turn all the chairs upside down, and anything else he could think of to do, (nothing destructive) just to make my Dad laugh. We were always glad to see him...What a tease.

NOTE: Yes his middle name was S. Kank per his siblings & children.

Married: Erma Tennent, July 15, 1915, in Mercer County, Ohio
