Funeral services for Louis Wayne Bailey, 59, of Coushatta, LA were held at 2 P.M. Sunday, March 9, 2014 at Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Paul Floyd officiating and Bro. Buster Bailey assisting. Interment followed in Bethany Cemetery.
Mr. Bailey was born August 17, 1954 in Coushatta, LA and passed away March 7, 2014.
He was preceded in death by his father, Huey P. Bailey.
Mr. Bailey is survived by his wife, Marie Champion Bailey of Coushatta, LA; two sons, William Bailey and Daniel Bailey both of Coushatta, LA; one daughter, Ashley Bailey of Campti, LA; one grandson, Kendrick Patterson; mother, Virginia Bailey of Coushatta, LA; one brother, Buster Bailey and wife, Faye of Coushatta, LA; two sisters, Sandra Bailey of Coushatta, LA and Karen Breedlove and husband, David of Bossier City, LA; one uncle, Frank Barbo of Coushatta, LA; two aunts, Polly Holmes of Gulfport, MS and Mary Gallagher and husband, Bob of Bossier City, LA; and several nieces and nephews; and a very special friend, Wayne Onishea and wife, Pam.
Pallbearers were Cory Layfield, Kevin Hill, Devon Corley, David Beard, Gene Smith, and Jim Wafer. Honorary pallbearer was Kyle Hill.
