She was born February 5, 1947 to Gene and Colleen (King) Emmons in Popular Bluffs, Missouri.
Beverly married Henry “Dick” Adkins on January 8, 1967 and celebrated 48 years together. He survives of the home.
Mrs. Adkins worked at K-Mart, Osco Drug, St. Joseph News press, MNX, and most recently at AmerisourceBergen. She was a member of McCarthy Baptist Church. Beverly was very loving and supporting to everyone, never knew a stranger and was loved by all.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Donna Miller; and granddaughter, Alexis Adkins.
Additional Survivors: loving husband; children, Thomas R. Adkins and Kelly Coy (Dewey); grandchildren, Joshua Judkins, Kaitlyn Coy, and Lacie Adkins; numerous nieces and nephews; and sisters of the heart, Sharon McGinnis, Carol Kruse and Carol Sisk;.
Services: 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.
