Aged 41 years on the 1870 census, so evidently born about 1829; 1900 census reports Mch 1827. Married 01 JAN 1852 in Muscogee County, Georgia, to Francis G. WILKINS (his second wife - he had married 28 AUG 1835 in Putnam County, Georgia, to Permelia McCLARY, who died 30 MAY 1851 in Columbus). Mother.

Sister: Mary Ann KING, who married 22 DEC 1842 in Muscogee County, Georgia, to Edward BAUGH

Mother: "FUNERAL OF MRS. EASTER KING.--According to announcement in yesterday morning's paper, the funeral services of this lady took place at St. Luke's Church yesterday morning. A large number of relatives and sympathizing friends of the family were in attendance. Mrs. KING leaves a number of children, all of whom have reached the age of maturity, among them is Mr. John KING, the banker; Mrs. WILKINS, the wife of ex-Mayor F. G. WILKINS; and Mrs. WHITTLE, the wife of Mr. J. J. WHITTLE, the dry goods merchant." [Columbus (GA) Enquirer-Sun newspaper, Friday, 04 OCT 1872, p. 3.]
