Elsie DePassio Goss, 102, of Punxsutawney, formerly of Iselin, passed away Monday, April 14, 2014, at Mulberry Square Elder Care & Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Goss was born April 6, 1912, in Aultman, the daughter of the late Frank and Margaret (Direnzo) DePassio.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Blair C. Goss, Sr.
Elsie resided in Iselin, Pa., for 68 years.
She is survived by two sons, William Goss of Buffalo, N.Y., and John Goss and wife Jeril of Punxsutawney; two daughters, Patricia Gulakowski and husband Robert of Gilbert, Ariz., and Dianne (Ancie) Zanos of N. Huntington; one sister; Helen Squillo of Detroit, Mich.; 18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Blair, she was preceded in death by two sons, Blair Goss, Jr. and Jack Goss; and two daughters, Anna Mae Harvot and Donna Jean Gormley.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 17, 2014, at the funeral home, with Jon Stockdale officiating.
Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Indiana.
