EARLY-Mrs. Anna Schulte, 93, of Early, died Monday, May 11, in Twilight Acres Nursing Home at Wall Lake.

Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, at Sacred Heart Catholic church in Early. Burial, under the direction of the Farber and Otteman Funeral Home of Sac City, will be in the parish cemetery.

Survivors include three daughters; Sister Ann Therese, R.S.M., Clinton; Mrs. Angeline Puetz, Early, and Mrs. Norbert (Lola) Huelman, Schaller, two sons: Paul, Sac City, and Ronald (Bill) Storm Lake; 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and a sister Mrs. Lena Roth, Fordyce, Neb.

Mrs. Schulte was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1947; three sons; a grandson, a sister, a stepsister, three brothers and a stepbrother.

She was born September 4, 1887, in Carroll County, a daughter of Maurice and Angela Wempe Boeckman. She was married to Theodore Shulte November 16, 1909, at Breda.

The Schultes moved from Breda to the Early area in 1917. Mrs. Schulte was a member of Sacred Heart church, the Christian Mothers and the Altar Society. (Carroll Daily Times Herald, Carroll, IA, May 12, 1981)
