Winterset, Iowa. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church for Susie Short, 95, of Winterset, who died of a heart attack Saturday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines. Burial will be in Winterset Cemetery.
KMrs. Short was born in Clarke County and lived in Winterset since 1970 and Madison County since 1920. She was a homemaker, a member of the First Christian Church and a former Sunday school teacher.
Surviving are a son, Willard, and a daughter, Christine Farlow, both of Winterset; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Collins Funeral Home.
