Norma's love story began when she met Grove Weldon May. They were married on January 30, 1953 and had four children, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Their love story lasted 61 years and continues on in the hearts of her loved ones. Norma loved baseball. She not only watched it with her family on TV, she made it a point to be at every possible baseball game that her children and grandchildren played. She would even play baseball in the front yard with her grandkids.
Norma was well known for her baking. She had a sweet tooth and most everything that she is known for is some kind of sweet treat. Norma was also deeply devoted to her family. She was a sort of family historian. She enjoyed taking photos, collecting photos and organizing photos of her family and ancestors. She made sure to keep all the cards and writings and notes that her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren created for her. She treasured those gifts and she treasured her family.
