Beatrice H. Pearson, 72, died on Sunday, April 13, 2014, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Beatrice was the wife of Floyd R. Pearson from Freeport, IL. Floyd and Beatrice (fondly known as BB) were married on December 1, 1962, in St. John, New Brunswick, Canada. Beatrice was born to Muriel (Goldsmith) Dixon and George Dixon on May 31, 1941, in St John, New Brunswick, Canada. She was a devoted member of Calvary Presbyterian Church in Hawthorne, CA. Surviving family members are her husband; brother, Reverend Blair Dixon of Regina, SK, Canada; and a host of loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceding her in death were her parents; five brothers; and four sisters. Funeral Services were held on Saturday, April 19, 2014, at Calvary Presbyterian Church in Hawthorne, CA. Beatrice will be laid to rest at the Freeport City Cemetery on Saturday, April 26, 2014. A graveside memorial service will be held at the cemetery beginning with viewing from 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the burial site. The graveside memorial service will commence at 11 a.m.
