Marie Monson Clover Strasburg
1932 - 2014

Early Life: Marie was born December 28, 1932, in Shelley, Idaho, to Elmer Richie-Lou and Edith White Monson. Firstborn of five children, Marie was raised in Lehi, Utah.
Life's Work/Service/Interests: Following graduation from Lehi High School, Marie married Julian Clover on July 23, 1953. They lived in multiple locations during their marriage and were excited to have their children. Their daughter, Julie, was first; then Jay, a year later. She went through many struggles with four other children that were stillborn. This she turned into a positive by helping develop a cure for RH Factor, by donating to the University of Utah research program. She worked at Montgomery Ward in the 60s and 70s, after which, she went back to school to be an LPN and then went to work at the Utah Developmental Center, where she retired. Julian passed away in 1981, after which she found love again in 1985, when she married Allen Strasburg. This made her very happy, with the addition of the large family she had always dreamed of. She loved traveling, going to the races and doing even the littlest of things with her family. Marie Monson Clover Strasburg, 81, of American Fork, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014.
