Margaret Mary Kelsey was born
Jan. 19, 1913 in St. Paul, Minn, the
daughter of Bernard and Martha Lemke
Aders. Her family moved to Sumner,
where she graduated from high school.
She also attended Junior College in
Waterloo.

She was united in marriage to Reed
A. Kelsey on Dec. 15, 1932 at Galena,
Ill. He died Oct. 17, 1990. Margaret
worked for the Storm Lake Canning
Factory and later as an aide and in the
business office of the Buena Vista
County Hospital.

She was an active member of the
Storm Lake Church of Christ, a volunteer
for A.E.A. and a member of U.C.T.
She enjoyed playing the piano and organ
and singing. Her hobby was making
Barbie Doll clothes and collecting porcelain
dolls.

Mrs. Kelsey died Saturday, May
13,1995 at Buena Vista County Hospital.

Preceding her in death were her
parents, her husband, and two daughters,
Diane Marie Kelsey and Lola Yon.

Survivors include two sons, Lyle
R. and his wife, Carol, Edmond, Okla.;
Larry R., Manhattan Beach, Calif.; a
son-in-law, Wyatt Yon, Storm Lake; six
grandchildren, Christine Rengli, Sharon
Kelsey, Andrea Kelsey, Catherine
Elward, Wyatt K. Yon and Crystal L.
Kelsey and three great grandchildren,"
Madison and Paige Rengli and Amanda
Weber.
