Age 70, of Seville, Florida, formerly of Merrillville, passed away Monday, February 18, 2002 at her residence in Florida. Born to Nick and Theresa Gregorash in Joliet, Illinois November 22, 1931. She attended Edison High School in Brunswick. She was a Hoosier State Girl, Junior Class President. Married Norman "Red" Parkhurst in 1951. She was a bookkeeper for the family business. Previous member of Merrillville Profession Business Women's Association. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Dolly Hamilton. Survivors, husband, Norman "Red" Parkhurst; one son, David Parkhurst; two daughters, Debra Parkhurst of Valparaiso, Denise Thorte; three grandchildren, Thomas and Lindsay Barnett, Melissa Bujna; brothers, George (Barbara) Gregorash, Nick (Toni) Gregorash, Robert (Joan) Gregorash, Raymond Gregorash; three sisters, Barbara (Richard) McMullin, Helen (Richard) Seitzinger, and Frances (Jim) Price.
