Shelbe Pauline (Gingerich) Axline, 22, of Clarence, Iowa (formerly of Rochester, Iowa) passed away Monday, April 21, 2014 at Mercy Hospital, Iowa City following the birth of her healthy baby Wyatt. Visitation services for Shelbe will be held from 3PM to 7PM on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Fry Funeral Home in Tipton, Iowa. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, April 25, 2014 at First Church United in West Liberty, Iowa. Immediate family will lay Shelbe to rest at Rochester Cemetery in Rochester, Iowa. Friends are encouraged to stay at the church for a luncheon to honor and celebrate Shelbe's life with her family upon their return from the burial. A memorial fund has been established for the family of Shelbe Axline. Online condolences may be shared at www.fryfuneralhome.com.

Shelbe Pauline Gingerich was born June 19, 1991, the daughter of Pat Gingerich and Connie Byrnes in Iowa City, Iowa. Shelbe graduated from Tipton High School in 2010. On November 21, 2012, Shelbe married the love of her life, Bert Axline, and gained a beloved son, Logan, the very same day. Family was her first love and priority. Shelbe loved everybody and had the most kind, loving, joyful heart. She loved animals, the outdoors, hunting, fishing and her dog, Ladybird. Shelbe did all she could to make peace and share love with others. Her final gift to the world was the birth of her son, Wyatt. Bert and Shelbe were overjoyed at his birth; she will watch over her whole family as an angel from above.

She was preceded in death by her Uncle Mike Hennings of Moscow, Iowa; grandparents, June Livingood and Donald Byrnes Sr.; and several other great-grandparents.
