Cooper, Geraldine of Montrose, age 61, died Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at her home. Geraldine will be cremated and a private graveside service will be scheduled for family at a later date. Geraldine was born December 21, 1953 in Vasser to Orville Ferris and Lillian (Brookman) Vejnovich. She married Ronald Cooper on October 4, 1986. She retired from General Motors/Delphi in 2005 after 24 years of service and was an avid union activist. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She also enjoyed camping, working on genealogy, cooking and candy making and traveling. Surviving are: Husband, Ronald; Daughter, Elisa (Dave) Hooper; Sons: Gary(Donna) Cooper, Mike Cooper, Roger (Sheila) Cooper, daughter-in-law, Judy Cooper; 6 grandchildren: Karlie, Mike, Jeffrey, Alicia, Nike and Ronald; and 2 great grandchildren, Mason and Tristen; Sister, Terrie Rohlfs; and nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Orville Ferris and Lillian Vejnovich, brothers: Dennis and Timothy Ferris, and son, Robert Cooper. The family extends a special thanks to the Hospice workers for their loving care.
Jeri was a findagrave member, J. Cooper #46610345, she took many headstone photos and posted them on the memorials as well as the memorials she posted on findagrave, she did this so others could find their family/ancestors. Jeri did a lot of work on the Montrose Cemetery, Montrose, Mich. Jeri will be missed by all that knew her, she touched many hearts.
She was a wonderful friend and she was thoughtful, kind and generous. I will miss her.
