Edwin Bertram (Byrd) Almes of Saltsburg passed away Monday, Nov 17, at 9:15 a.m. in Indiana Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient for three days. He was born Dec 2, 1874, Kiskiminetas Township, Armstrong County, son of Joseph and Lucinda Ashbaugh Almes, and had resided in the Clarksburg Community all his life until moving to Saltsburg 13 years ago.
Mr. Almes was a member of the Clarksburg Presbyterian Church. He is survived by one sister, Miss Alwilda Almes of Saltsburg and a number of nieces and nephews.
