Miss Alwilda Almes of Saltsburg, Pa., passed away Monday, January 26, at her late residence. Born October 29, 1869, in Kiskiminetas Twp., Armstrong Co., Pa., she was a daughter of Joseph and Lucinda Ashbaugh Almes, and had spent all of her life in the Clarksburg community until 13 years ago when she moved to Saltsburg. She was a member of the Clarksburg Presbyterian Church.
Her brother, Edwin Bertram Almes, passed away in November 1958, and she is the last of her immediate family. Surviving are a number of nieces and nephews.
