Funeral services for Francis C. Church, 81, who died Thursday at the Parkside Nursing Home, Union Gap, will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Walter C. Ball a& Son Funeral Homes, Sunnyside. The Rev. Douglas Honeyford will officiate.

Burial will be in the family plot in the Sunnyside Cemetery.
Mr. Church’s home was in Benton City. He came to this state many years ago and had also lived in Washougal and Sunnyside.

His survivors include his wife Eva Mae; five sons, Clifford E. Church of Benton City, Lester O. and Charles W. Church of North Carolina, Claude G. Church of Orgon and Ernest T. Church off Dallas, Tex., and two daughters, Mrs. James Phillips and Mrs. Orville Hawthorne of Prosser. Two brothers, Walter Church of Prosser, and W.L. Church of Tacoma and three sisters, Mrs. Mattie Tomlinson of Sunnyside, Mrs. Callie Decker of Wapato and Mrs. Myrtle Stran of Bellingham also survive. There are 35 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

Francis was the son of Thomas Church and Elizabeth (Tomlinson) Church.
