Rebecca Ann "Becky" Williams Alexander, 44, of Pittsburg, Ks., passed away at her home on April 22, 2014.

She was born in Garland, TX on February 16, 1970 to Mary Ann Black and Jerry Williams.

She graduated from Pittsburg High School and attended Pittsburg State University. She worked at Eagle-Picher in Joplin, MO for many years and was most recently employed by NPC of Pittsburg, KS and had many friends.

She celebrated the birth of her first grandchild, a boy, Braedin Jeffrey Dohle, at the beginning of the year and he was the highlight of her life.

She is survived by her mother Mary Black of Pittsburg, her father, Jerry Williams, two brothers, Matt Williams and JayDee Williams and wife Jess, of Mulberry.
She is also survived by five "outlaw" sisters; Janet Jamison Williams of Joplin, Norma Large of Denver, Missy and Sherri West of LaCygne and Starla Westhoff of Wichita; her three children Amanda Williams of Joplin, Brandi Williams Dohle of Mulberry and Darren "Christopher" Tynan of Oswego;
one grandson Braedin Dohle of Mulberry and seven nieces and nephews; Andrea, Anthony, Toni and Tia Williams and Heather, Amy and Kevin Williams. She also had many "adopted" children who loved her.

She had a kind heart and was loved by many but mostly people loved her smile and her ability to make others smile.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 26, at Crestline Baptist Church, Crestline, Ks, with the Rev. Paul Duncan officiating.

The family asks that if flowers are purchased in memory of Rebecca, that they be potted rather than cut.
