Married Barbara hanson Mohr February 14, 1981 at Hamilton, IL. She survives.
Also surviving are sons Troy Leigh (Stacy) Mohr and Glenn David (Cheryl) Foster; daughter Stacey Lynn (Ron) Foster; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was a 1962 graduate of Wapella (IL) High School and attended Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.
Glenn was a "grain man," and was Grain Department Manager for several companies, including Farm Bureau Co-op (now Ceres Solutions). He was instrumental in having the Corn Dome built at Cherry Grove Elevator. He ran the Beason, IL, Grain Elevator, worked for Growmark, Inc., DeKalb (Monsanto) and was Grain Department Manager of the Edon Farmers Co-op in Edon, OH. One of his favorite jobs was the Grain Department Manager for Gateway Co-op in Galva, IL. There, he originated and engineered the building of a 100-car Rail load-out CSX Railroad. He then advanced to Waverly, IA as Grain Department Manager of seven elevators for AgVantage FS. He merchandised millions of bushels of grain daily.
He and his wife, Barbara moved back to Crawfordsville to retire in June 2010, where he worked part-time at Culver's. He greatly enjoyed times with his friends, his children and grandchildren, playing cards and spending time in Florida.
He was a Master Griller and belonged to the Darlington Gun Club. He was a long-time member of The International Order of Elks, and was a member and past president of the Hamilton, IL Lions Club, and a member in Waverly, IA. He was a member of First Christian Church, Crawfordsville.
Celebration of Life 2pm Friday, April 25 at First Christian Church, Crawfordsville. Visitation begins at 1pm. And a memorial service at Bethel Presbyterian Church in Hamilton, IL, on Saturday, April 26 at 2pm with visitation at 1pm
