Born in Scranton, daughter of the late William J. and Lizzie Jehu Lidyette , she had been a resident of the Abington area for 40 years.
Emma loved music and spent many hours around the piano singing with her brothers and sisters.
Surviving are a son; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; step-children, step-grandchildren, stepgreat-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers, David, William, Harry and George Lidyette ; and two sisters, Mary Wharton Weins and Sadie Guest.
The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, with services by Commander Kent W. Kettell, retired. Interment, Fairlawn Cemetery, Dalton.
Friends may call Saturday, 1 p.m. until time of service.
