Ill for over three years with lung trouble, Frank Guy, a native of south of the city and a son of David Guy, died last night at Tuscon [sic], Ariz., and the body will be brought home for burial.

The young man had made a long but losing battle for life, for some time at Denning, N. M., and then at Tuscon [sic]. His family of a wife and two little boys, Richard, aged 10 and Jack, aged 4, were with him. Mr. Guy was in the service where he suffered an attack of double pneumonia from which he never recovered. He was a railroad workman and a member of the Railway Trainmen, and belonged to the Christian church. Besides the father there are two sisters, Edith Hopper of Burlington, Ia., and Nellie Groh, of this city, also two brothers - Glen of Chicago, and Robert, who lives in the west.

The widow and children start tomorrow afternoon with the body from Tuscon for their Bloomington home.

The remains of Charles F. Guy, a well known local man whose death at Tucson, Ariz., was announced yesterday, will arrive via the Santa Fe and Monon tomorrow at 3:15 and be taken to the home of Mrs. Russel [sic] Groh, south of the city, and the funeral and burial will be Monday at 2 o'clock at Clear Creek, in charge of Rev. Ray Shively. The pall bearers are Jess Evans, Marion Dillman, Bennie Clark, Raymond Fowler, Guy and Warren Dillman.

Mrs. Guy with the two little boys, started from Tuscan yesterday afternoon - about 1,500 miles distance.

Because of missing railroad connection, Mrs. Charles F. Guy did not arrive from Tucson, Ariz., with the body of Mr. Guy this morning at 9:30 over the Illinois Central, so the funeral and burial were postponed until Tuesday at 2 o'clock at Clear Creek, in charge of Pastor Roy Shively. The Masons will conduct the services at the grave and the pallbearers are Jess Evans, Marion Dillman, Bennie Clark, Raymond Fowler, Guy and Warren Dillman. Upon arrival here the body was taken to the Russell Groh home south of the city.
