Martha came to Saskatoon from England with the Barr Colonists in April, 1903 . Around 1906, she married Dave Caswell.
They then moved to the Juniata district to what we now know as Caswell's Crossing. In the early
years it was a great gathering place for picnics.
Dave raised purebred cattle and horses, winning many ribbons and trophies.
They raised two boys, Fred and Jim.
Dave passed away in 1926.
Martha continued to live on the farm and in 1930 married William McDaid. She passed away in 1974 .
