On October 4, 1789, Jacob Allen Albert Sr. married Elizabeth Williams, daughter of George (37279672) and Margaretha Harless Williams. (59840446) Jacob and Elizabeth Williams Albert had at least seven children:
1. Margaret born about 1792, m. Pleasant Webb Jr.
2.Mary Jane(138558142) born 1794, m. William Porterfield (138558101)
3.George born about 1796, married Martha Patsy Givens
4.Jacob Allen, Jr. (18834782 )born June 12, 1799, m. Molly Anna Williams (10419448) (dau of John and Elizabeth Tawney)Williams
5. John Madison born 27 Jan 1832, (10419480)
James Frederick born 1806,
Wilson born about 1800.
Family Tradition states she is buried in a cemetery between Hoges Chapel and Mt. Lake in what is now Doe Mt. Farm in Giles County, there is a DAR memorial there. Dowdy -Webb Cemetery
The directions to the cemetery are as follows:
from Blacksburg
460W to Hoges Chapel, right turn on Rt 613, Doe Creek Rd. Left on Rt 615, Toe Camp Rd. bear left onto Rt 616 past farm on left to dead end near the Cemetery, under a large tree, in a field. I have a good history of the Alberts and will share.
