She was originally buried alongside other family members in Williksen Cemetery (property donated by her father to the township of Thor as a public cemetery). Humboldt City Hall recorded the date of July 25, 1926 for the removal of the family's remains to Union Cemetery in Humboldt County, IA -- reason for the removal is unknown.
