Robert Arthur "Bob" Salley, 86, passed from this life on Friday, April 18, 2014. Visitation will be on Monday, April 21st from 11:00 to 1:00 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 and interment will be at Garden of Memories, also in Florence.
Bob retired from the Mississippi Highway Patrol and from the U.S. Marshal Service where he served as bailiff for Judge Harold Cox. Auto repair and restoration was Bob's passion. He just liked fixing things.
Preceding him in death were his parents and eleven siblings.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Sallye Davis Salley; three sons, Rodney (Diana) Salley of Pensacola, FL, Steven (Melissa) Salley Odom of Fairhope, AL, Jeffery Salley of Fairhope; two daughters, Jacqueline (Richard) Salley Smith of Fairhope, and Lacey (Scott) Salley Hicks of Florence, MS, twelve grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
