Graveside services were held on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at the Griffith Cemetery in Brownstown, IL., for Frankie Lucille Harrie, 87, of Salem. Doug Meyer officiated. The Rogers-Atkins Funeral Home in Salem is in charge of arrangements.
Harris died at 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, at Twin Willows Nursing Home in Salem. She was born in Borger, Texas on November 28, 1926, the daughter of Clifford and Stella Stotts. In 1950, she married Bill Harris in Reno, Nevada.
Frankie was a homemaker. She loved to play the fiddle and enjoyed going to entertain the residents in nursing homes.
Survivors include a sister, Margaret Cox and her husband Wilbert in Salem; half-siblings, Judy, Jack,Joe, Patriata and John all of California, and a cousin, Bill Stotts of Springfield, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
