Lloyd Harrison Brewer, 73, of Levelwoods, died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2001, at his residence. He was an employee of Independent Stave Company and a member of the Levelwoods United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elzie and Sadie Warren Brewer; a great-grandson; a sister, Betty Brewer; and a brother, Harold Brewer. Survivors include his wife, Mina Brewer; a son, Lloyd T. Brewer; five sisters, Margie Brewer, Cathleen Brewer and Norma Skaggs, all of Campbellsville, and Alene Skaggs and Shellie Allen, both of Hodgenville; four brothers, Heistand Brewer of Campbellsville, Gene Brewer of louisville, James Brewer of Hodgenville and Daniel Brewer of Buffalo; two grandsons; and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral was Saturday. Jan. 6 at Levelwoods United Methodist Church with the Rev. Lawrence Brockman Jr. officiating. Burial was in the Levelwoods church cemetery.
