WILLIAM ELBERS

William A. Elbers, 56,
of this city, died Friday afternoon at a Milwaukee
hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Klein and Stangel Inc., funeral home, Two Rivers, with burial in the Pioneers' Rest cemetery. The body may be viewed at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday.
Born in Rockford in 1889, Mr. Elbers married Miss Alma Lauber of Two Rivers in 1917.
He worked as a salesman out of Rockford for a number of years, coming to Manitowoc six years ago where he was connected with the National Tinsel company.
More recently he was associated with the All-State Insurance company.
Besides his wife he is survived by three sisters, Edith Elbers and Elizabeth Hendricks, both of Rockford, and Josephine Yorkdale of Washington, D.C.

Marriage of William/Alma Elbers

Wm. Elbers, traveling sales man of Rockford, Ill., and Miss Alma Lauber,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adam Lauber, well known residents of this city
were married at St. John's parsonage Wednesday afternoon. After the
ceremony the wedding party gathered at the home of the bride's parents
where a supper was served, only near relatives being present. The couple
then left on a honeymoon trip to Milwaukee and Chicago.
