He loved the outdoors and spent many years camping, hunting, and fishing with various friends and family. He loved to travel and took his children on cherished family vacations all over the United States.

He was able to live out one of his life dreams by serving a mission with his wife during the 1997 reenactment of the wagon train, which was one of the highlights of his life.

Jerry loved projects, tools, yard work, ice cream, hot baths, animal shows, home depot, great deals, the Utah Jazz, and anytime one of his children walked through the door. He found his greatest joy in being with his family and made every one of them feel special and loved.
