MARYVILLE, MO-Glenn W. Acklin, 81, Maryville, died Tuesday (July 10, 1984), at St. Joseph Hospital after a brief illness.

He was born Feb. 13, 1903, in Graham, MO, the son of Thornton Acklin and Sarah Gaddy Acklin.

On April 18, 1925, he married Ruby M. Riley in St. Joseph.

Mr. Acklin was a stockman and farmer. He had lived in Maryville since January after moving from the Graham area.

He had been a member of the Graham Christian Church since 1923. He was a member of the Graham Masonic Lodge No. 289 AF & AM, the St. Joseph lodge of Perfection and the 14th degree of Scottish Rights.

Mr. Acklin is survived by his wife, Ruby Acklin, of the home; two sisters, Lola Eden, Winslow, Ariz., and Eulah Bond, Skidmore; and several nieces and nephews.

Services are set for 3:30 p.m. Thursday (July 12, 1984) at Price Funeral Home with the Rev. Golda McClelland officiating.

Weather permitting, there will be a Masonic service at Prairie Home Cemetery, Graham. Lanelle Warren will officiate.

Friends may call at anytime.

Memorials may be sent to the Bethany Christian Church, Barnard.
