NEW ALBANY – Roy Glenn Littlejohn, 61, died Thursday, April 3, 2014, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. He was born Jan. 1, 1953, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Roy Littlejohn and Lena Lavel Littlejohn. He graduated from East Union High School. He was a former inspector at Piper Impact. He married Janice Staten Littlejohn on Oct. 15, 1994.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at Wallerville Baptist Church. Serenity-Simmons Funeral Home of New Albany is assisting the family.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Littlejohn, one son, Jeremy Brent Littlejohn, and his mother, Lena Littlejohn, all of New Albany; a stepson, Jason (Kristina) McNairy of Forest Hill, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Monica Jean (Michael) Bohonicky of Wilmington, N.C.; one brother, Butch Littlejohn of Belden; one sister, Judy Weiser of Ecru; three grandchildren; one stepgranddaughter; and other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father; and his grandparents, James and Myrtle Courtney, and John Mackjoe and Dola Littlejohn.
