Ocala - Ruth B. Mobley went to be with the Lord at the Legacy Hospice House on December, 14, 2012. She was born October 22, 1921 in Mason County, KY and grew up in Oneida, KY where she graduated from Oneida Baptist Institute. She then attended Eastern Kentucky Teacher's College. In 1941 she married Joe Mobley, who preceded her in death in 1998. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, two sisters and five nephews. She is survived by daughters: Laura Nell Britton, Ocala, FL; Jo Ann Brandt (Roger), Ocala; grandson Lucas Evans (Julia), Benbrook, TX and many nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. She was a lifelong active member of the Baptist Church. She was an accomplished executive secretary; a wonderful and creative cook and homemaker; a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend who will be missed by all she touched.
