Shannon Edward Fox, age 45, of Appleton, passed away April 1, 2014, at his home. He was born March 18, 1969, in Berlin, the son of Carol Lind and the late James Fox. Shannon graduated University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in December, 1996, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. On October 15, 2005, Shannon married the love of his life, Janell Esqueda. Shannon's passion for life included travel, food and his cats. Shannon was preceded in death by his twin sister, Kellie; his sister, Michelle; his father, James; his grandparents, Edward and Helen Fox, and Ruben and Madonna Moos; and his beloved cat, Erwin. He is survived by his wife of over eight years, Janell, of Appleton; his mother, Carol (the late Donald) Lind, of Oshkosh; his brother, Jason (Tammie) Fox, of Winneconne; his brothers, David Lynk and Robert Lynk, both of Oshkosh; his sister, Pat Reser, of Berlin; and many other extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly. Wiecki-Skipchak Funeral Home of Berlin is handling the funeral arrangements, and cremation will take place per Shannon's wishes.
A Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, April 12, 2014, from 10-1 at the Wiecki-Skipchak Funeral Home of downtown Berlin, followed by a Memorial Service in celebration of Shannon's life at 1 p.m.
