Robert Dwayne Presley, 55 years old of McMinnville, TN went on to meet the Lord at his home on Tuesday morning, April 15, 2014. Robert Dwayne Presley known as Buddy was born September 25, 1958 in Detroit, Michigan, to Robert and Eula Presley. His interests included his devotion to his family whom he loved so dearly. He loved to listen to music from the 1970's. He loved the Lord and dedicated his life to listening to the Word of God as he traveled from home to Georgia where he worked as a Cotton Gin Repair Supervisor. Mr. Presley is survived by his wife Carolyn of 34 years, his 4 Children and their spouses Raygan Presley, Richard and Pam Presley, Ryan and Amber Presley all of McMinnville, TN. Mr. Presley had 11 grandchildren. His parents Robert and Eula Presley of McMinnville, TN. He had 7 sisters: Phyllis Brown of Sparta, TN, Jackie Worley of Leicester, NC, Glenda Theiss of McMinnville, TN. Evie Miller of Madison, Ohio. Pam Corey of Smithville, TN. Teresa Simmons of Smithon, IL Babbie Crawford of Mosheim, TN. He was preceded in death by his Son, Robert Jewell Presley and his sister Patsy Ann. He was a member of People's Pentecostal Church of Smithville, TN. Funeral services for Mr. Presley will be held on Friday, April 18th at 11am from the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Thomas Hewell & Bro. Timmy Simmons will officiate & burial will follow at Dekalb Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, 5-8pm, Thursday, 9am-8pm & Friday, 9am until the service time at 11am.
