Sir Arthur Plantagenet was the Illegitimate son of King Edward IV, and Lady Elizabeth Wayte (she married Sir William Lucy; however, it is unclear if she was his widow, and married the King after his death, or if she married Sir William, after the birth of her children with the King, and their annulment). He lived with his mother who had several other children by King Edward IV; before, he married Elizabeth Woodville-Grey.
He had gone by his mother's maiden name, Wayte, but at some point during his childhood around the age of 3, he was brought to live with his father King Edward IV in his Castle, and was given his father's Sir name. From that moment on he was called Arthur Plantagenet, and stayed in the Royal Nursery. He grew up living with his Father, King Edward IV, and with his Father's new family, after the King, married Elizabeth Wydville-Grey; until his father's death.
Sir Arthur Plantagenet then lived with his half sister, Elizabeth, the Queen Consort to Henry VII, and their son, his nephew, Henry VIII. Therefore, he lived with his sister, and her family; after, the death of their father, King Edward IV; until, the death of his half sister, Queen Elizabeth Plantagenet-Tudor.
When Arthur's half sister, Queen Elizabeth, died he remained living with, her husband, King Henry VII Tudor and their son, his nephew, Henry Tudor VIII who became the next English Monarch, Known as Henry VIII.
Arthur became very close to his nephew Henry, so it was natural that when Henry VIII became King of England, he had Arthur knighted into the Order of the Garter, and made him his, Royal Councilor. Then a year later, King Henry VIII who was Sir Arthur's nephew, appointed him, the Vice Admiral of the Royal Navy.
After all of the years not being married, Sir Arthur married , Lady Elizabeth Grey, 6th baroness Lisle. When he married, Elizabeth Grey, Sir Arthur Plantagenet, was given the Title Viscount Lisle. Then King Henry VIII, gifted them both with large land holdings in Sussex and Wiltshire. Henry then added all of the above titles, and Summoned Sir Arthur Plantagenet, as a peer to the upper house of parliament. This is all recorded in the following documents:

However, there did come a time when King Henry VIII had, Sir Arthur Plantagenet, imprisoned, for Treason, and he spent his time in prison, in the Tower of London. This was very painful for Sir Arthur Plantagenet, and when he was told that he was finally to be released, he died, from a heart attack, just two days after becoming free. Sir Arthur Plantagenet was buried at the, Tower of London.
