18925 Private C Johnson
3rd Bn Yorkshire Regiment
He was admitted to Cameron Hospital with gun shot wounds to the head. The injury was said to have been the result of an accident in the rifle range at hart. Johnson was acting as a marker when a bullet ricochetted off a steel plate wounding him, later to be fatal and he died age 35 later that evening.
Born at Seaham Harbour. Son of Edward and Barbara Johnson; husband of Jane Johnson, of 30 Back, North Terrace, Seaham Harbour.
